New Texas Sinfonia was founded in early 2020 as an innovative professional chamber orchestra for Texas. Our third season has been a season of 'firsts' that began with our first Holiday Side by Side Concert! Seventeen talented instrumentalists from middle school, high school, and college joined the players of New Texas Sinfonia for a holiday program that brought cheer to the season. Most recently the ensemble gave their first tasting concert and it was delicious! With Canadian composer Maxime Goulet's Chocolats Symphoniques audiences explored both the flavors and sounds of four different types of chocolate. The season concludes with Aaron Copland's iconic Appalachian Spring on May 31st and June 1st. New Texas Sinfonia is currently preparing for our fourth season and your support today goes directly towards making that season a success!
