We are so grateful for the support of each business, individual and group who have donated to Friends of Winnsboro Animal Shelter over the years! During 2024, just a few examples of ways our organization was able to help fund & support Winnsboro Animal Shelter include: * Covered expenses for Winnsboro veterinarian services including spay/neuter, heart worm testing and treatment - $8,500.00 * Through fundraising efforts and donations, FWAS raised over $18,075 to benefit the Winnsboro Animal Shelter * Allocated $10,000 to begin a FREE spay/neuter program for residents of Winnsboro * Covered veterinary fees for surgeries on animals that require it, helping our shelter keep euthanasia to a minimum. ($2,000.00/quarterly) * Keeping the food pantry full with essential pet care items, as well as pet food and cat litter. We have purchased two stainless steel carts requested for the new facility.
