The East Texas Symphony Orchestra is committed to creating outstanding music education and live symphonic music experiences for the people of East Texas. Music has the power to bring diverse communities together, to touch souls and to enrich lives.
Your donations through East Texas Giving Day directly support these programs of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra.
As a non-profit organization, ETSO relies on donations to make these unique opportunities possible. Less than 20% of the orchestra's annual budget is covered by ticket sales. Individual, corporate, and foundation support are vital to bring to the stage the orchestra's programs each season. This includes a series of concerts at the UT Tyler Cowan Center, featuring the full orchestra and world-renowned guest artists. The orchestra also presents special event concerts at the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center at Tyler Junior College, including the popular 50th anniversary celebration of "Texas Country Reporter" titled "A Texas Tribute" (June 2023) and a concert in honor of the solar eclipse, "Totality" (April 2024).
ETSO is dedicated to giving back to East Texans annually and bringing new audiences to the orchestra
