Every day, families in East Texas are forced to choose between food, rent, and life-saving medications. The rising cost of prescriptions leaves many-especially those without insurance or too young for Medicare-without the treatment they need.
Community RX Help, a nonprofit founded in 2001, bridges this gap. Serving Angelina, Nacogdoches, Shelby, and San Augustine counties, we secure free or low-cost medications for patients who would otherwise go without. In January alone, we facilitated over $1.2 million in prescriptions.
We operate two essential programs: our Maintenance Medication Program, which helps uninsured patients access long-term prescriptions, and our Immediate Medication Program, which provides emergency medications for those in urgent need.
No one should have to suffer because they can't afford their medication. At Community RX Help, we make sure they don't have to.
